Where are you located?

Burbank Podcast Studios can be found on the second floor of the building located on the corner of Glenoaks Blvd and Grismar Ave;

What are your business hours?

We’re open Sunday through Friday, 10AM to 8PM.

Saturdays are variable.

Do you have parking available?

We have 2 gated parking spots located off Grismar Ave, under the signs labeled, “Burbank Podcast Studios”.

There is a ton of additional free parking located on Glenoaks Blvd.

What are your studio rules?

1. No pets or animals of any kind.
2. No smoking in building.
3. No access to rooms that were not booked for session.
4. No minors unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.
5. Furniture, decorations, or any other set pieces, may not be moved without consent.

How many people can be in the studio?

The podcast studio can support up to 4 individuals at maximum.

We ask that hosts limit the guests they bring, to only those individuals who will be on camera or microphone.

How do we book a session?

How does your billing process work?

When booking at our studio, we bill based on “Studio Time”. Put simply, this is the amount of time you have reserved at our studio for yourself and your guests. To be clear, we do not bill based on recording time (how long your session lasts), but on studio time (how long the studio is being reserved).

Studio time is billed in 1 hour blocks, we do not bill in any other increments of time. If you need 1 hour and 15 minutes of studio time, you will be billed for 2 hours.

Add-on services are typically billed at their respective flat-rates.

Editing services are billed in 15 minute increments.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made AT LEAST 24 hours in advance.

What happens if we start late?

Your session begins at the start of your scheduled time, regardless of what time you arrive.

It is highly recommended that you and your guests arrive EARLY, to ensure that your booking can start at the scheduled time.

We reserve the right to provide up to a 15 minute grace period, to allow time for setup, or unavoidable traffic/etc. Grace period time can not be applied to recording time.

Example: If your start time is at 10AM, and a grace period is approved, the latest you can start without incurring additional charges is 10:15AM.

Engineer set up time does not count against your scheduled time.

Example: If it takes an engineer 15 minutes to set up, you will still receive that 15 minutes of time.

What happens if we go over time?

You will be billed for an additional hour, regardless of how much over the session runs.

Example: If you booked a 1 hour session, with a start time of 10AM, and your session runs till 11:05AM, you will be billed an additional hour.

Do studio sessions include an engineer?

An engineer is included with all audio, and video podcast recordings.

We do not allow 3rd party engineers access to our equipment.

Do you record video podcasts in 4K?

Set 1: All video podcasts come with two (x2) 4K UHD 60FPS cameras, and our custom-built AI-driven video switcher.

Set 2: All video podcasts come with two (x3) 4K UHD 60FPS cameras, and our custom-built AI-driven video switcher.

How many cameras do you have?

Set 1: We have two (x2) Panasonic GH5s 4K UHD 60FPS cameras. This set DOES NOT have a third camera/view/angle.

Set 2: We have three (x3) Panasonic GH5s 4K UHD 60FPS cameras. This set offers a single wide angle, and two closeup shots.

How many microphones do you have?

Set1: We have four (x4) Shure SM7B Microphones.

Set 2: We have four (x4) Shure SM7B Microphones.

Can someone remote call-in using Zoom, Skype Etc?

We can support audio-only calls through most platforms, but Zoom and Skype are recommended.

We can support audio and video calls through Zoom and Skype.

We do not have a regular/voip phone number for calls.

Set 2 does not support remote calling.

Do you support live streaming?

We can simultaneously stream to 3 different streaming platforms natively. You also have the option to send your feed to restream, streamyard, a custom RTMP server, or any other restreaming service.

Please note that live-streaming is an add-on service, and we bill at a flat rate of $30 per live-streaming session.

Do I need to bring anything to the recording?

Not unless you want to!

How do I get my files after recording?

You will be provided with access to our Google Workspace drive, in order to retrieve your files.

Our standard turnaround time is 3 business days after recording and/or after final notes for editing have been delivered.

Do you offer video and/or audio editing?

We’re a full service production agency offering video editing, audio editing, visual content creation (intro/outro/logo), social media services, consultation services, and more.

Can you post my podcast to iTunes, YouTube, etc?

Yes, we offer podcast publishing as an additional service.
